The story
Members closed out the school year with an ice cream social that gave the chapter time to celebrate service, welcome reflection, and recognize the people behind the year's events.
Why we did it
To give members a low-pressure space to celebrate the year, strengthen relationships, and reflect on the outreach and service work completed by the chapter.
What participants did
Students gathered after school for ice cream, conversation, and informal reflection. The meeting helped members celebrate shared work while building momentum for future Science NHS activities.
In the room
Each activity connected a visible, hands-on task to the scientific thinking behind it.
Chapter community
Members spent time together outside of a formal event role, building stronger connections across the chapter.
