The story

More than an event — a chance to put science into practice.

An egg drop engineering challenge hosted by SNHS where members worked in teams to build protective contraptions and test them from the band tower.

Why we did it

To give members a chance to work together, use physics and engineering skills, and have fun building and testing their designs.

What participants did

Enjoy a collaborative engineering challenge led by CGHS Science National Honor Society members, where students work in teams to design, build, and test protective contraptions for a high-stakes egg drop from the band tower. Each design tackles physics and mechanics concepts to keep the egg safe—encouraging teamwork, innovation, problem-solving, and discovery in a fun, engaging way designed for members.
