The story
More than an event — a chance to put science into practice.
Members celebrated Earth Day by planting around campus and caring for outdoor spaces that support a healthier, more welcoming school environment.
Why we did it
To give members a practical way to connect environmental science with campus improvement and long-term care for shared outdoor spaces.
What participants did
Students prepared planting areas, placed new plants, watered them in, and discussed how small habitat improvements support pollinators, soil health, and school pride.
