Center Grove Science NHS
For Earth Day in the 2025–2026 school year, members of the Science National Honor Society (SNHS) mobilized into teams for a focused, member-led cleanup to beautify the Center Grove campus. Volunteers fanned out across the grounds to pick up litter and clear debris from high-traffic and athletic areas, including the tennis courts, football practice fields, parking lots, baseball fields, and the entire outer perimeter of the school.

The story
An environmental cleanup event hosted by SNHS where members split into teams to collect trash across the Center Grove campus, including athletic fields, parking lots, and school perimeters..
Why we did it
To foster environmental stewardship, enhance the cleanliness of the school grounds, and bring society members together for a hands-on contribution to sustainability and community service.
What participants did
Enjoy a collaborative campus cleanup led by student volunteers split into teams to cover high-traffic areas across the Center Grove grounds. Participants work together to collect litter from athletic facilities, parking lots, and campus perimeters—encouraging teamwork, environmental responsibility, and community pride in a fun, impactful way designed for students.
